Kitchens Review Clerkenwell Design Week

Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) took place in May and welcomed 37,725 visitors from both the UK and overseas. The London-based free design festival hosted a total of 11 exhibition venues and presented more than 300 design brands
and makers.

In addition, over 160 local showrooms hosted a range of product launches, workshops, and talks.

Show organisers reported the best attendance results in its 14-year history, with a 24% increase on its 2019 event.

Diane Larner attended and has collated six inspirational highlights from the show.

“We’re absolutely delighted with what we achieved this year – not only because we reached our highest visitor numbers yet, but also because we were met with so much excitement and enthusiasm from our visitors and the wider A&D community.

“This year we made a full-scale return to Clerkenwell – and with our most extensive programme to date. Everyone was so looking forward to seeing interesting products and meeting with their suppliers and peers again.”

“Clerkenwell Design Week works well on so many levels – for those, like RAK Ceramics, with a permanent presence in the area it’s a chance to show off our spaces, to launch new products, and to attract a wider audience than ever during a very busy three days in London’s design district.

“For those visiting and for exhibitors too, it’s a great opportunity to network, to gauge trends and to be inspired. CDW 2023 delivered throughout.”
