Rotpunkt launch industrial style K25 fluted glass unit

Kitchen brand Rotpunkt is adding depth and texture to the modern kitchen space with the launch of its brand-new industrial-style K25 Fluted Glass unit, featuring a 25mm black metal frame.

Distinct and highly sophisticated, the new K25 Fluted Glass unit presents a stylish alternative when completing a run of base cabinets as you can move away from standard side and end panels towards a practical storage option, which maximises space and bridges the gap between the practical nature of a kitchen and an open plan living environment.

Matt Phillips, head of UK operations at Rotpunkt says, “Our new Industrial Style K25 unit lends itself perfectly to open plan living, helping to blend beauty with practicality in a larger, interconnected area. To be able to establish clear boundaries between zones without creating physical barriers is a priority in today’s home, and K25 offers a lifestyle-friendly design option that echoes the rising demand for industrial-style, vertical groove furniture in the kitchen and living space.”

K25 FLUTED GLASS –

As vertical interior design continues to gain momentum for adding height and grandeur, fluted and reeded door fronts have become a great way to emphasise different styles of kitchen furniture. Highly structured and typically seen in natural wood, furniture designed with deep vertical grooves is helping the modern kitchen move away from conventional units with standard slabs to non-standard designs with striking features.

Thanks to K25, UK homeowners can now bring a new perspective on the fluted furniture trend with the addition of an extra-deep fluted glass base unit designed with front access, hinged doors and fully integrated LED smart lighting. The new Industrial Style fluted glass K25 doors are handleless by design, and available with a 25mm black metal frame, which is cleverly designed to allow the door hinges to remain hidden and ensure seamless lines throughout. Fluted Glass is also available in K20 doors with 20mm black metal frame.

Other Industrial Style glass options include J doors with 50mm metal frame in either stainless steel or black finish; K doors with 20mm black metal frame; KS doors with 20mm black metal frame and Crittall-style gridwork; KH with 20mm black metal frame and horizontal bar; and new K25 doors with 25mm black metal frame. Plus, all Industrial Style glass doors can be designed in either Crystal (clear), Diffuse (frosted), Factory (mesh style), Chimney (smoked) or Mirror (reflective).

EXTREME MATT FINISHES –

Ideal for hardworking, open-plan environments, Zerox furniture in HPL XT Umbra and Clay Dark colour options helps to create a tactile look and feel in the kitchen thanks to the extreme matt (XT) and high-pressure laminate lacquer finish (HPL). Rotpunkt Zerox HPL offers 19 different XT finishes, and this kitchen combines two shades of grey in one scheme to provide super matt surfaces, which are anti-fingerprint, easy to clean and highly resistant against chemicals and UV rays. Also available in matt, gloss, Sync pore and Fenix® colours.

You can even extend the furniture to the countertops with colour-matched work surfaces in the same finish, for a truly cohesive design. Choose from 46 available décors and a thickness of either 16mm, 20mm, 40mm or 60mm.

 MINDFUL STORAGE –

Designed with the user in mind, a walnut wall panelling makes practical use of a bare wall to provide a fully customisable storage system, which allows you to mix and match accessories and move them around as you wish! Freeing up valuable worktop space, each 19mm panel is finished with a matt black metal profile to match alongside essential features like built-in appliances, handles, shelving, and complementary wall panel accessories.

The large island unit is cleverly separated by a solid wood divider, to create the ideal location for storing fresh herbs and cooking oils in the prep zone. Designed as an independent unit, this unique storage solution can be affixed to adjoining worktops, base units, and drawers to provide unlimited planning options.

Homeowners can also enjoy a seamless transition from the kitchen to the living room with a matching entertainment centre, as shown, which features an illuminated wall panel system in walnut with black metal shelving and base units in HPL XT Umbra.

Creating climate-friendly kitchen living interiors, 80% of all Rotpunkt furniture is made of Greenline BioBoard Gen2, made up of up to 90% recycled wood, with all wood elements FSC® Certified in support of the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable forestry.

Prices for a Rotpunkt kitchen using Zerox Furniture in HPL XT Umbra and Clay Dark with new Industrial Style K25 Fluted Glass unit starts from £17,500+vat. For more information, please contact Rotpunkt UK: email info@rotpunktuk.com or visit www.rotpunkt.co.uk (rotpunktkuechen.de)
