This New York City apartment, spanning three floors in Soho, has undergone a significant transformation by Studio Razavi. The redesign focuses on creating a seamless connection between the floors while enhancing the apartment’s natural light and access to outdoor space.

Key changes include modifications to the facades to install large windows, providing ample daylight, and a green terrace on the top floor that offers views of the surrounding city. A central feature of the apartment is a large bronze spiral staircase, which serves as a visual anchor between the floors.

The kitchen design includes a striking contrast between the porphyry slab flooring and oak parquet, paired with dark grey stone walls, adding vibrancy and texture to the space. A satin-finish CEADESIGN faucet complements the refined materials used throughout the room. This attention to detail is mirrored in the adjacent dining area, demonstrating consistency in design choices across the entire home.

Throughout the apartment, the design combines soft, natural materials such as oak flooring, marble, and glass, with custom-made furniture and carefully selected international design pieces. Art also plays a prominent role in the overall aesthetic.

The main bathroom features a soft, neutral travertine finish, complemented by satin bronze-finish taps from the ZIQQ and GIOTTO collections. The overall colour palette ties the spaces together, creating a cohesive and inviting environment.

This project highlights a thoughtful approach to design, blending luxury materials with functionality while ensuring each detail contributes to the overall harmony of the space.
