Appliance specialist Caple’s new gas hob collection – C4061G, C4071G and C4091G – features magnetic cast iron pan supports and metal dial controls on a smooth, stainless-steel base for a classic finish, which is highly durable and a popular material for professional chefs.

The new C4061G, £360 from Caple, measures 580mmW by 500mmL, and accommodates a triple ring burner, two semi-rapid burners and a simmer burner. If you’re looking for a larger cooking platform, choose a five-burner model, such as the new C4071G, £452 from Caple, or the C4091G, £526 from Caple, each of which features a triple ring burner, a rapid burner, two semi-rapid burners and a simmer burner. The C4071G hob measures 760mmW by 500mmL and the C4091G model is 860mmW by 500mm.

All three models feature a flame safety device and auto electronic ignition.
