CEA launches Cartesio – a collection of taps manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel

CEA has introduced Cartesio, a collection of taps manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel and available in single-lever, two-handle and thermostatic versions.

The collection is characterised by a geometric design, with right-angled spouts forming a distinctive linear profile. The complex curvature of the spout is created using a micro-incision technique that removes material at the point of the bend.

Cartesio also includes a multifunctional kitchen tap, designed around ergonomic principles. The system combines water dispensing with microfiltration, providing still or chilled sparkling water, as well as boiling water from a single tap.

The filtration system is designed to reduce reliance on bottled water and the associated plastic waste and transport-related CO₂ emissions.

All Cartesio products are available in satin and polished finishes, alongside CEA’s special finishes, including Black Diamond, Bronze, Copper and Light Gold. The collection is manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel, described by CEA as providing an ecological and biocompatible solution.
