DeVol Kitchens unveils elegant new design at Raynham Hall

Kitchen brand DeVol Kitchens has announced the completion of an extraordinary kitchen project at the historic Raynham Hall. This design was led by Frankie, one of DeVol’s most senior Kitchen Designers, and the custodians of the Hall.

This project marked a first for DeVol, as the company worked to integrate a modern kitchen into a room with significant historical and architectural importance. Raynham Hall, a family home and a stately property, presented a unique challenge in balancing the needs of daily living with the preservation of its heritage.

The design carefully avoided altering the room’s original features, woodwork, and artwork, ensuring that the kitchen and pantry were seamlessly incorporated.

The kitchen combines functionality with a design that fits within the space. The cupboards, finished in DeVol’s Refectory Red, work in harmony with the room’s aesthetic. Materials such as Heirloom Brass fittings, honed marble worktops, and a gaselier light were selected for their suitability to the environment. A brass sink, positioned to face the grounds of Raynham Hall, completes the design.

The final result is a kitchen that complements its surroundings without disrupting the room’s character. It provides a practical family space while respecting the heritage of the Hall.

Raynham Hall is located just twenty minutes from the North Norfolk coastline. The project highlights DeVol’s approach to designing kitchens that respect their surroundings while offering practicality and style for modern living.

This project provides valuable insights for architects and designers seeking to design kitchens that blend seamlessly with historic environments while meeting contemporary needs.
