Kutchenhaus opens first showroom in Ireland

Kutchenhaus has officially opened the doors of its first Irish showroom. Owned and managed by Paula and Liam Holohan, Kutchenhaus Kilkenny is an immersive 3,300 sq. ft. space dedicated to German kitchen innovation and represents another key milestone in the brand’s continued expansion.

Offering the latest in German kitchen excellence through her extensive industry experience and distinctive personal approach, owner Paula is dedicated to designing kitchens that inspire, while delivering a truly outstanding customer experience.

Stepping inside Kutchenhaus’ first Ireland showroom visitors can immerse themselves in an inspiring collection of beautifully crafted, on-trend designs across 12 different displays, each created to suit every lifestyle, layout and budget, and complemented by appliances from brands including NEFF, Siemens, SMEG, Caple, Quooker, and Blanco.

From range cookers to quartz worktops and Belfast sinks, the space seamlessly blends contemporary and classic styles, brought to life through a considered palette of coral tones, layered greens, greys and sleek black finishes, allowing customers to start envisioning their perfect new kitchen.

Working previously as a kitchen designer and within graphic design, Paula becomes the proud owner of her first kitchen showroom, thanks to a model which works for her and partner Liam.

“Speaking with the team, I could see straight away the significant backing I’d receive if I were to become a franchise partner. From CRM systems to marketing, website and branding, it was explained clearly from the outset that we would not be doing this alone.

“There was an infectious, positive attitude, and I loved the fact that so many showroom owners in the network were also women. This was key in my decision to choose Kutchenhaus and I’m so pleased I did.”

Once on board, Paula and members of the Kutchenhaus team collaborated to choose the perfect location in Kilkenny.

“Kutchenhaus flew out and worked closely with me to visit and review different showroom locations. I can’t stress enough how incredibly beneficial this was and, once it was decided, I worked with the brand’s showroom designers to make the dream a reality.

“I have to pinch myself when I think of how far we’ve come. From showroom design and product training to technical support, there’s always been someone there to help me on this journey. They know what works, as they’ve been there and done it before. I joke that the new Kilkenny showroom is my baby, I’m that invested and happy with it!”

For owners like Paula and Liam, the differentiation of the Kutchenhaus model from others, and the dedicated support at every step, enabled them to confidently start a business they’re genuinely excited about.

Paula further explained: “At my core, I’m a designer who loves working with people. My passion lies in solving kitchen challenges and creating spaces that truly delight my customers. When someone is making a big investment like a new kitchen, trust is everything, and I always take time to understand their needs and lifestyle. Over the years, I’ve loved meeting so many different people and helping to transform their homes.”

She concludes: “Our goal is to inspire customers to think differently about modern kitchens. Everything they see when they visit Kutchenhaus Kilkenny can be incorporated into their own home. We want to educate, excite and bring more incredible kitchens to our city.”

Backed by nobilia, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, Kutchenhaus franchise partners have instant access to a recognised German brand with competitive pricing and robust supply chains. This comes with exceptional service support and an extensive range of high-quality, German-engineered kitchens, continuously on-trend and manufactured by the very best in the industry.
