Quooker partners with Used Kitchen Exchange

In partnership with Used Kitchen Exchange (UKE), Quooker has launched its latest initiative to encourage a more sustainable solution to its ex-display and pre-owned taps.

UKE is a discount marketplace offering Approved Used and Ex-display kitchens. In offering a pre-owned ‘trade-in’ within the industry, UKE helps to make huge environmental savings when selling a new kitchen, whilst customers enjoy the ‘feel good’ factor of making an ethical choice.

UKE confirm for every kitchen traded in, not only does it reduce rates of deforestation, but each kitchen’s re-use saves on average 5,000kgs of carbon.

Quooker will become an official supplier on the UKE platform from November 2021 with the aim of creating a more sustainable solution to its second hand, Ex-display taps,

All Quooker taps purchased through the UKE, will be completely re-serviced and rigorously tested to ensure they are in perfect working order before being put on sale. Giving customers that added peace of mind, all taps will come with an official Quooker 12-month warrantee.

With the taps being sold below normal retail price, this will open up the Quooker experience to those who may not be able to afford it at full price or just wish to make a more sustainable purchase. Stock availability will depend on the rate at which showroom refurbishments occur.
