The Used Kitchen Company

It was refreshing to see The Used Kitchen Company return to kbb Birmingham as its sustainability partner. With tonnes of kitchen waste still sadly ending up in landfill, founder Looeeze Grossman is passionate about encouraging showrooms to come on board to sell their ex displays.

Founded in 2005 by Looeeze Grossman, The Used Kitchen Company is the leading UK platform for selling ex display and used kitchens, working with over 1200 showrooms nationwide they will take away all the aggravation that usually goes hand in hand with selling displays.

With tonnes of kitchen waste still sadly ending up in landfill, Looeeze is passionate about encouraging showrooms to come on board to sell their ex displays. They can take it one step further by encouraging customers to sell their old kitchens through TUKC too. With so many showrooms already signed up, the amount of waste that could still be saved is huge and add to the 25,000 tonnes they have already saved from landfill. Quality kitchens are built to last and it’s never been more important for the kitchen industry to recognise its duty to the environment and sustainability.

As kbb Birmingham’s sustainability partner, The Used Kitchen Company calls on all showrooms to join them and do their bit in reducing waste and becoming more sustainably aware in 2022.  Let’s make the whole selling, buying, recycling process a circular economy, reduce as much waste as possible, and give all kitchens the chance to live to their full potential in a new home.

Speaking about kbb Birmingham, Looeeze said:

“This is our second year as kbb Birmingham’s sustainability partner and we’re just as much, if not more passionate about reducing the extraordinarily amount of kitchen waste that ends up in landfill unnecessarily. If you’re not signed up with us, please do come and talk to us about reducing waste, benefiting customers and helping our industry to bounce back to even greater levels of success in 2022.”

Jon Johnston, Sales Director at kbb Birmingham also added:

“We are delighted to be working with The Used Kitchen Company again. Sustainability will continue to be a major focus at kbb Birmingham 2022 and our collaboration with TUKC highlights the different ways that exhibitors can ensure their stands are built with minimal social and environmental impact. We look forward to maximising this innovative partnership.”
