Refrigeration specialist Liebherr is launching its French Door collection to the UK market this November. Available in three timeless finishes, this premium range offers generous storage with a height of 180.5cm, a width of 90.6cm, and a depth of 74.5cm. It can be installed as a freestanding or integrated appliance.
The fridge-freezers are available in two designs: as a French Door appliance with two freezer drawers or as a French Door fridge-freezer with four doors. The new French Door collection comprises eight models across Liebherr’s Pure, Plus and Prime series. Available in Liebherr’s SmartSteel, BlackSteel and the newly launched TerraSteel, a warm stainless-steel finish, the range provides options to suit different lifestyles and kitchen aesthetics.
High-quality interior materials such as glass and stainless-steel ensure durability, while the subtle MoodLight lighting system highlights key features, including the Water & Ice centre and recessed grips on the freezer drawers, with a dimmable ambience that can be adapted to preference.
Freshness and everyday convenience
The new French Door models incorporate Liebherr’s innovative BioFresh, HydroBreeze and EasyFresh technologies. Keeping food fresh for up to five times longer than standard refrigeration, BioFresh maintains ideal humidity and temperatures close to 0°C, while HydroBreeze delivers a cooling mist for improved food structure. The versatile VarioTemp zone adds further flexibility, allowing the compartment to function as either a freezer or fridge, with precise temperatures ranging from −18°C to +5°C.
For everyday convenience, the appliances include an external Water & Ice centre providing chilled, filtered water, clear ice cubes and crushed ice on demand, with a customisable filling function for different vessel sizes. The patented FlexDoorSystem allows each door to open and close individually, maintaining a secure seal to maximise efficiency.
Seamless connectivity and control
For greater ease and convenience, all French Door models come complete with the SmartDeviceBox meaning homeowners can adjust settings from a smartphone. Thanks to the recently launched updates, they will have access to practical insights such as energy consumption, storage guidance and day-to-day usability via their smartphone or tablet. All models feature a Touch & Swipe internal display for easy control and seamless aesthetic.
