Following the success of last year’s inaugural Retail Design Awards, leading tile brand Ca’ Pietra has announced the return of its industry-wide celebration of creativity and craft – the Ca’ Pietra Design Awards 2025.
Open to Ca’ Pietra trade and retail partners across the UK, the awards recognise projects that showcase the beauty and versatility of Ca’ Pietra materials. From striking bathrooms and expressive kitchens to hallways and landscaped exteriors, each entry should demonstrate how thoughtful material choices can transform a space.
This year’s programme introduces a series of new categories that reflect how designers are using tile and stone throughout the home. Alongside Kitchen and Bathroom Design of the Year, there are now dedicated awards for Hallway Design, Landscape & Exterior Design, and Whole Home Transformation, as well as special recognition for Design Moment of the Year and Ones to Watch.
A panel of leading names in UK design media will select the winners, including Ben Spriggs, editor-in-chief at Elle Decoration; Jessica Doyle, design & interiors editor at The Telegraph; and Lewis Malpas, creative director at Mr Porter.
Entries are now open and will close on 1st December 2025, with winners announced on 18th December 2025.
Grazzie Wilson, group brand director at Ca’ Pietra, says: “Last year’s awards revealed an extraordinary level of creativity and craftsmanship across our retail network, with projects that challenged convention and celebrated the expressive potential of tile and stone. It highlighted just how imaginative our community is, and how powerfully Ca’ Pietra materials can define a space when handled with care and intent.
“By opening the awards to a wider audience this year, we are recognising that great design does not sit within boundaries. Our tiles are used by designers, architects and makers in so many different contexts – from small boutique studios to large-scale developments – and each has their own way of interpreting texture, tone and pattern. The Ca’ Pietra Design Awards are a chance to showcase that diversity and to shine a light on those who are pushing the conversation on what surface design can be.”
