Responding to this growing demand, Falmec has upgraded its best-selling Virgola under-cabinet hood with two new models: Virgola Touch Comfort and Virgola No-Drop Comfort. Engineered with the latest technology, both models deliver quieter operation without compromising on extraction performance.

At the core of the new range is an integrated soundproof chamber, lined with noise-absorbing material to minimise operating noise and improve overall acoustic comfort. For recirculating installations, optional accessories include a filter-equipped duct and a dedicated deflector, both designed to further reduce sound levels.

Virgola Touch Comfort features a discreet touch control panel integrated into the front flap, which can be opened and rotated. This allows users to manage all functions without opening the wall cabinet, while also protecting cabinetry from steam and vapours.

Meanwhile, the Virgola No-Drop Comfort model incorporates advanced anti-condensation technology. A system of cross-bladed technopolymer filters captures vapour generated during cooking, particularly with induction hobs. Condensation is channelled along an inclined surface and collected in a removable tray, ensuring easy maintenance and a cleaner kitchen environment.

Available in Scotch Brite stainless steel or black painted finishes, the Virgola range is offered in 60, 75, 90 and 120cm widths to suit a variety of layouts. Dynamic lighting enables users to adjust colour temperature, while dimmable illumination provides flexibility to match different moods and tasks.

In recirculating mode, performance is further enhanced by long-lasting Carbon.Zeo Microtech regenerative filters, ensuring efficient air purification over time.
