Configura launches essential kitchen extension for European market

Configura recently released the highly innovative and visual Essential Kitchen Extension to the European market. This new tool helps manufacturers do business faster and ensures new kitchen designers and sales representatives are trained quickly.

“Our new Essential Kitchen Extension will make work easier for designers who use multiple Extensions within CET, but also for manufacturers that do not yet have an Extension with Configura,” said CEO, Stefan Persson. “We developed a product to bridge the gaps in the design process between individual designers, manufacturers and sub-suppliers.”

The Essential Kitchen Extension is a visual tool with generic kitchen products which follow European industry standards; made available through catalogue-based libraries.

CET Kitchen & Bath users can download the free Essential Kitchen Extension on Configura’s Marketplace.

“People are under the assumption that designing a kitchen is easy. It’s not,” said Project Manager, Simon Andersson. “When you’re working with small floor plans, measuring and designing accurately is vital.”

CET Kitchen & Bath allows designers to create stunning kitchen designs in 2D and 3D with symbols which look and behave like real products. Thanks to the rules-based objects in CET, users require only minimal product knowledge to create visually striking, accurately calculated kitchen layouts as well as error-free proposals.

By equipping CET Kitchen & Bath with the Essential Kitchen Extension, designers and manufacturers gain access to a visual tool to ensure the use of common, generic symbols and industry standards that result in accurate, visually appealing and functional kitchen designs.
