Fisher & Paykel welcomes new design development manager

Fisher & Paykel has announced the appointment of Lynda Mills as design development manager. In her role, Lynda will work closely with specifiers, designers, architects, and industry professionals, offering expertise, introducing new products and adding value to their projects.

Lynda is the second design development manager to join the UK team within the last six months as the Fisher & Paykel brand continues to cement its status as the premium appliance supplier of choice for key design practitioners.

Mills will draw from more than 20 years of industry experience within the kitchen and B2B sector to
bring an experienced and personable approach to opening dialogue with specifiers, designers and
architects to build mutually beneficial and long-lasting relationships.

With two decades of experience running her own company within the bespoke kitchen and house
renovating sector, Mills has designed, installed and project-managed many kitchen installations and
associated enabling works. Previously, she managed national and local major accounts for DPD and
believes her training in account management prepared her for every client-facing situation she has
been in.

Mills cites good communication and establishing trust with clients as vital in her field, both with
external trades and clients. She describes a successful project as one that is delivered both on time
and on budget, whilst exceeding client expectations.

Emma Russell, head of mrketing, Fisher & Paykel UK comments: “Connecting with our design
partners and customers is a huge priority for us, and as we develop the way we do this, Lynda will be
instrumental. Lynda’s experience within the kitchen and design industry, and her deep
understanding of design principles and what makes the end client happy, will mean she can nurture
and strengthen our relationships with decision-makers in the design space.”

Outside of her work, Lynda is a Fulham Football Club season ticket holder. Her passion for food
follows through to her personal life too, where she is nurturing a passion for her greenhouse, hoping
to soon enjoy some home-grown produce.
