GROHE offers CPD Seminar on water-saving

As part of its mission statement ‘Shaping the future of water’, GROHE has released a RIBA-approved CPD seminar, Water Saving without compromising performance to encourage greater awareness and action from the architect community when it comes to specifying water fittings for projects. The CPD session will entitle all participants to receive 1.5 hours towards their annual requirement.

The seminar includes discussion around the severity of the global water epidemic and with London ranked as the 9th city most likely to run out of drinking water, highlights to architects and design professionals the importance of integrating water-saving solutions in new builds and structures in the UK. It also dissects the criteria for four of the key accreditation systems concerned with achieving a sustainable status, empowering architects to make more informed choices moving forward.

“We have been working with the architect community for many years and have established a strong reputation for providing water-saving solutions that are designed to meet the regulations of many global sustainability accreditations, such as BREEAM, LEED and Estidama”, says Glen Wilson, Head of Projects at GROHE UK. “As we now look to how our processes and innovations as a brand can shape the future of our environment and the precious resource of water, we feel it is more important than ever to extend our expertise and passion for water conservation to architects, capturing their minds at the very beginning of the process. We have been advising and configuring water-saving solutions for our architect customers for decades and the demand for greater understanding in this area has been growing for some time. Therefore we are delighted that this CPD programme will share insight and raise awareness on this crucial topic”.

Sessions for 2020 are now available to book in either a seminar or ‘lunch and learn’ format for all RIBA

Chartered architects directly from RIBA’s CPD website, www.ribacpd.com
