Kitchens Review Insinkerator Grand Designs Live

InSinkErator returns to Grand Designs Live

InSinkErator® is showcasing its innovative kitchen tech to visitors of Grand Designs Live in Birmingham, from 4th to 8th October 2023, following a successful stint at the April exhibition in London.

On stand K78 in the Grand Kitchens and Bathrooms Hall at the NEC, Birmingham, InSinkErator® will be demonstrating its collection of food waste disposers and specialist kitchen taps, highlighting the numerous benefits to visitors of Grand Designs Live.

The popular exhibition attracts affluent consumers who are keen to enhance their homes with the latest innovations and smart technology. Visitors can explore products and services in the various exhibition zones, including Grand Gardens, Grand Interiors and Grand Build. There will also be expert talks across the range of stages to boost their self-build knowledge, interior inspiration and learn how to reduce their carbon footprint.

On display for visitors to Grand Designs Live will be a variety of InSinkErator® food waste disposers, including the top-of-the-range Evolution 250 model, that can safely grind food waste into minute sized particles, thanks to the innovative system of stainless steel grinding rings. The waste is then simply dispatched and rinsed away down the drain, through the standard plumbing. InSinkErator® invented the food waste disposer over 90 years ago and today manufactures a variety of models to suit different sized families and cooking needs. InSinkErator® advises consumers to compost their food waste if they can. Where this isn’t possible, an InSinkErator® food waste disposer offers an alternative solution for consumers to sustainably manage their food waste at home. They fit neatly under the sink and eliminate any unwelcome interruptions from stale and gone-off food odours from the kitchen too.

For visitors looking to add a wow-factor to their kitchen, the InSinkErator® portfolio also boasts stylish specialist kitchen taps, both stand-alone models and combination taps, in a range of shapes and on-trend metallic finishes. At Grand Designs Live, InSinkErator® will be highlighting the versatility and convenience of its range of specialist kitchen taps, demonstrating the product and advising of the specifications, installation requirements and warranty information.

Anne Kaarlela, marketing communications and customer service manager, Europe, InSinkErator®, says: “Exhibiting in April at Grand Designs Live was very beneficial for us at InSinkErator® as we could demonstrate our products to visitors who are in the market for stylish, technological solutions to enhance their homes. Food waste disposers are still a relatively new product category for some consumers and demonstrating how safe and easy they are to use is vital for increasing awareness, consideration and adoption.

“Our Grand Designs exhibition stand is benefitting from some updates, including elevating our food waste disposers to reinforce the history of our brand and really focus on InSinkErator® as the go to food waste disposer brand. We are exhibiting at Grand Designs again in October to raise further awareness of our brand and product portfolio with self-builders and home improvers, and to drive footfall for our trade partners.”
