InSinkErator UK celebrates long-serving team members

Food waste disposer expert InSinkErator UK is starting the year by celebrating two of its longest-serving team members, who now have a collective 32 years.

Triin Tiitson, inventory & logistics manager, and Caroline St Denis, customer accounts supervisor, are part of a team that prides itself on expertise, dedication, and longevity. The overall average length of service for the current team is 10 years, reflecting the company’s strong culture of staff retention.

Triin interviewed Caroline back in 2010, not knowing they would work closely together during such a pivotal period, becoming part of a longstanding group of employees who have helped build the business across the UK. In terms of service length, the duo is only surpassed by UK MD Ashley Munden (39 years) and Key Account Manager Martin Green (23 years).

Triin Tiitson: A Journey of Growth and Leadership

Triin joined InSinkErator in 2008, initially in a sales administration role before progressing to Customer Accounts Supervisor, and finally Inventory & Logistics Manager. She has witnessed the company’s transformation firsthand, taking part in product launches, system upgrades, office moves, and strategic projects.

Triin comments: “It’s been an amazing journey so far, being part of the InSinkErator UK team. The company has experienced steady growth across the 18 years I have been here, and I am lucky to have been given opportunities to broaden my responsibilities, learning new skills and taking leadership courses during that time.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Caroline and many other talented colleagues locally and across the globe, who have supported me professionally and personally. My team consists of hardworking people who give their dedication and time to the company. Without their experience and support, I would not be able to do my job as successfully, and I appreciate every one of them.”

Caroline St Denis: From Administration to Supervisor

Caroline joined InSinkErator just two years after Triin, in 2010, and worked closely with her during the early stages of her career.

“I started as an Administration Assistant, joining Triin, who at the time was the only other member of that team. Over the years, I’ve gained an enormous amount of experience and knowledge, becoming a supervisor several years ago, and seeing the sales administration team expand to five.

“InSinkErator UK has grown so much over the past 16 years, with the team expanding from around six people when I started to more than 20 today. We benefit from the stability of a large parent company, while our smaller UK team allows us to avoid the impersonal feel often associated with larger companies. My colleagues have always been supportive and, when needed, good listeners!”

Caroline continues: “Triin and I know each other so well and it’s been great to share in this journey together. I enjoy my work, the variety and the challenges, and I think InSinkErator has the right balance of working from home and office working. I’m looking forward to the future and to playing my role in it.”
