KBSA announces restructured board with new roles added

KBSA (Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association) has used the occasion of its AGM 2026 to announce a restructure of its board with new roles added. During the meeting, members voted on and approved the appointment of all the board roles.

“The strength of any association comes from the people behind it and I’m proud of what we continue to achieve together,” commented Richard Hibbert, who will continue in his role as National Chair. “Over the last year, we’ve focused heavily on improving all areas of the KBSA and restructuring the board to ensure we are fit for the future. This restructure moves us towards a structure based on individual passion, expertise and experience. And I genuinely believe this is the strongest, most agile and forward-thinking board that the KBSA has ever had.”

The structure of the KBSA Board is now as follows:

National chair, Richard Hibbert: A KBSA Board member for almost 13 years, Richard has served as chair since 2017. His role in overseeing the entire association remains unchanged.

Vice chair, Luke Wedgbury: Already a board member, Luke will take on the brand-new role of vice chair. He will work directly to support Richard in all areas of the association.

Bathroom growth director, Koralia Hume: Koralia had already been tasked with growing the bathroom side of the association as bathroom champion, but this will now formalise her role. Growing the number of bathroom partners and members is a key focus for KBSA.

Education director, Jamie Harding: Another very important focus for the association going forward will be improving the learning and development that KBSA can offer members. Existing board member Jamie will take the lead on this.

Education advisor, Mark Butler: Mark, also an existing board member, will support Jamie Harding on the education side.

Membership benefits director, Heath Everett: Focusing wholly on refining and improving existing member benefits, Heath will also work to bring on value-driven benefits for members going forward. Members should speak to Heath with any feedback or ideas on what is available to them.

Conference and events directors, Sarah Reeve-Daly and Lindsey Copperwheat: Sarah and Lindsey are new to the board and will jointly support the KBSA office team in managing the range of events held throughout the year. Their focus will be on ensuring all KBSA events bring real value that members can take away.

Corporate chair, Owain Harrison: Owain’s role will be to oversee partners joining the association and will be a point of contact for both existing and potential partners.
