LEICHT Contracts appoint head of sales to drive top-line growth

LEICHT Contracts, a specialist in premium German kitchen furniture for the new build and regeneration sectors, has appointed Steve Northwood as its new head of sales, effective 26 May 2026.

The appointment is designed to support the company’s growth strategy, with a focus on identifying key development opportunities and strengthening its position within the UK contract kitchens market.

Northwood brings more than 18 years’ experience across the construction and contract sectors, having held senior sales roles with global manufacturers and suppliers of residential and commercial building products, with a particular focus on bespoke fitted furniture for the luxury residential market.

In his new role, he will lead sales activity across the business, focusing on pipeline development, client engagement and securing large-scale residential and regeneration projects, particularly across London and the Home Counties.

“I am excited to make a difference with a strong brand that is already on track for a successful year,” said Northwood. “My focus will be on strengthening existing relationships and developing new opportunities across the new build and regeneration sectors.”

Managing director Matt Goddon said the appointment comes as LEICHT Contracts builds on strong momentum following recent product innovation, including new finishes, curved panels and updated furniture systems.

“Since my appointment as MD, business confidence is high,” he said. “This role will help us maximise growth, strengthen client relationships and further develop the LEICHT architectural kitchen offering for the homes of tomorrow.”
