Schmidt Major Blue Kitchen

The modern, Major kitchen collection from Schmidt

The modern, Major kitchen collection from Schmidt offers storage solutions for every need.

The contemporary Major collection in oak veneer creates clean lines and a fuss-free finish, essential in any compact kitchen space, and is available in a choice of six wood stains and 15 open grain lacquers. The design shown here features the neutral Slowwood finish with open shelving units in Moody Blue. Light wood finishes are ideal for enhancing a feeling of light and space and can easily be brightened up with accessories, small appliances and textiles in patterns, prints or pops of colour.

Keeping the area clutter-free, the Major kitchen collection from Schmidt can incorporate many space-saving storage solutions. Here, the island unit not only provides extra preparation surface and generously sized drawers below but it also comes with an extending table top for family mealtimes. A tall cabinet offers open shelving on one end, great for keeping cookery books close to hand, while bi-fold cabinet doors offer quick and easy access to small appliances such as a bulky food mixer or processor on a pull-out shelf.

Large appliances such as the dishwasher, oven and wine cooler are installed at eye level, which is kinder on the back, and maintains the seamless look. The large wine chiller is ideal for entertaining, as family and friends can simply help themselves to a chilled drink while you get on with the cooking. Slimline and shallow pull-outs sit alongside deep pan drawers while tall units are perfect for keeping baguettes upright and fresh. Added features include cutlery inserts, drawer dividers, pull-outs for herbs and spices as well as a tall, slim cabinet space for storing serving trays and chopping boards.

Mixture of tall space for trays, and internal drawers, useful cupboard for baguettes and bottles with space enhancing internal drawer, expanding blue table, handy wine cooler.

To complement the combination of Slowwood and Moody Blue furniture, hardwearing ceramic worktops in a Piombo colourway are teamed with Slowwood laminate for a material mix that’s right on trend. A matching extendable dining room table in Moody Blue is also available.

Schmidt kitchens start from £10,000 including delivery and fitting.
