Abode Kitchen Taps at Kidbrooke Village in Greenwich, London

Kitchen and bathroom specialist, Abode, has partnered with design and build specialists M3 and leading property developer Berkeley Group to supply 195 mixer taps for the kitchens at Kidbrooke Village.

Set within 86 acres of landscaped parkland in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Kidbrooke Village is fast becoming one of London’s most desirable new addresses. The development is made up of four distinct collections:

The Village Collection – Part of Central Gardens offering 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments

The Nature Collection – Part of Waterlily Court with 1, 2, 3 bed apartments and 3 bed townhouses

The Blackheath Collection – Part of Blackheath Village with 1, 2, 3 bed apartments & 4 bed townhouses

The Signature Collection – Part of Skyview Gardens & Lily Residences offering 1, 2, 3 bed apartments

With London on track to reach a population of 9.6 million by 2035 (Trust for London), the role of high-quality housing in community-led neighbourhoods is more vital than ever. Developments like Kidbrooke Village are central to meeting this need, combining award-winning architecture with generous green space, modern amenities, and exceptional transport links.

Residents benefit from on-site retail and leisure, including Kidbrooke Food Market, Sainsbury’s Local, Tesco Express, Starbucks, The Depot pub, PureGym and Fennies Nursery. Excellent rail connections provide fast journeys into central London, while Blackheath Village and its historic green are just a 15-minute walk away.

Properties across the scheme have been marketed from £410,000 up to £1.3 million, with homes designed to balance contemporary style with practical living. Each kitchen is equipped with composite stone worktops, integrated appliances, LED lighting, and now, Abode’s Althia Single Lever Mixer Tap – a sleek, contemporary solution available in nine colourways. For Kidbrooke Village, 100 were supplied in Chrome (AT1258) and 95 in Matt Black (AT1270), complementing the clean lines and open-plan layouts of the kitchens.

Graeme Blythe, national contract sales manager at Abode, says, “Creating homes in sought-after locations requires rigorous planning, exacting attention to detail and a design aesthetic which is sympathetic to the needs of a growing community. As Kidbrooke Village is an ongoing development which requires practical, contemporary, high-quality kitchens, and so we were delighted to collaborate with M3 Design Development Ltd on this project and supply all the kitchen brassware. As M3 has been creating and transforming interior architecture at every scale to a very high standard, we are proud our products have been chosen for their reliability, style and value.

The Althia tap – with its slim single lever, contoured spout, and minimalist profile – is designed to optimise space and ensure effortless control over water flow and temperature. Available in nine finishes, including Terracotta, Nude, Scandi Grey, Matt White, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Brass, Graphite, Matt Black and Chrome, the collection enables homeowners to personalise their kitchens with on-trend design choices.

Berkeley Group, renowned for regenerating brownfield sites into vibrant, sustainable neighbourhoods, has invested over £1 billion into Kidbrooke Village, which by 2030 will deliver more than 5,000 new homes. Each is designed with ESG and sustainability in mind, and products like Abode’s WRAS-approved Althia tap help ensure quality, compliance, and long-term durability.

Blythe adds: “With increasing urbanisation set to become a growing consideration in the UK development sector, new homes which meet strict criteria for ESG legislation are in demand, so we are delighted that our WRAS-Approved kitchen taps have been specified alongside quality raw materials like composite stone worktops, timber-effect flooring, and integrated appliances and LED lighting.

“Each kitchen is designed to maximise space and introduce practical design elements that make home life as easy as possible. With this in mind, we are very proud to introduce our range of quality kitchen taps to so many homeowners in this award-winning development.”
