Caple has launched a new C8800i 800x520mm black induction hob, retailing at £902. Frameless and low profile, the new hob is designed to be an easy-to-install, discreet, efficient component of today’s cooking space in the busy, multi-functional kitchen. The casing is a shallow 48mm, while the ventilation space can be as low as 15mm.

Features include a 16-level digital power display for each zone (0-15 plus booster), booster function on five zones, slider touch control, programmable timer on each zone, bridgeable zones (left side), child lock, power limitation function, pause function, residual heat indicators, automatic safety shut-off, automatic pan detection, anti-overheat, and anti-overflow.

An innovative power limitation function allows a maximum power draw level to be set; the user can restrict the hob to 3.5kW.

Optional extras include a cast-iron induction griddle, the iGRIDDLE3. Caple also offers a complete set of PANS which are ideally suited to induction hobs. The sustainably made set is crafted from recycled stainless steel, is ovenproof up to 250°C (without the lid), and optimised to provide excellent performance with induction hobs due to its encapsulated base.
