Falmec unveils new matt glass finish for integrated induction hobs

Falmec is expanding its cooking collection with a new matt glass finish for its integrated induction hob extractors — offering a sleek alternative to traditional glossy surfaces.

The new matt black design, paired with a white LED touch control, creates a refined and modern look. It is now available on the Brera, Brera 75, and Zero Easy models. Designed to meet growing consumer demand for tactile, non-reflective materials, this finish provides both aesthetic and practical benefits.

Matt surfaces continue to dominate kitchen design, and now appliances are following suit. Falmec’s matt glass offers multiple user benefits: it minimises fingerprints and smudges, reduces glare, and improves LED display clarity — with brightness up to five times higher than standard glass-ceramic.

Brera and Brera 75 combine compact design with intelligent features. Both models include a rear glass flap that opens during operation to extract vapours, then closes flush with the surface when cooking is complete. The result is a clean, streamlined appearance that’s easy to maintain.

Performance as standard

Performance features include nine cooking levels plus boost, a brushless motor, and Flex Surface technology, which adapts to pots of various shapes and sizes. Each model also incorporates smart functions to enhance the cooking experience:

Automode, which adjusts suction power automatically based on cooking intensity

Keep Warm, which maintains food temperatureChef mode, allowing different heat levels across zones

The Zero Easy model integrates the extraction system centrally within the hob and uses Falmec’s Air Slide System to direct suction precisely where needed. With plug-and-play installation and a rear outlet, Zero Easy fits easily into most cabinetry without additional ducting.

Zero Easy also features a regenerable Carbon.Zeo Microtech filter, accessible from above for quick maintenance, along with a liquid collector and all the same cooking and smart functions as the Brera models.

All three models — Brera, Brera 75 and Zero Easy — remain available in the original glossy glass-ceramic finish with red LED display.

The new matt glass versions with white LED control will be available from September 2025.
