Franke UK, a supplier of integrated kitchen solutions, has unveiled the latest addition to its premium appliance portfolio: the Mythos K-Link Matt Black Induction Hob. This hob combines a sleek, durable design with integrated smart connectivity. Designed for modern kitchen living, it delivers advanced functionality with a tactile matt finish that reflects the growing demand for sophisticated, contemporary surfaces.

Finished in a textured matt black glass, the 80cm wide hob offers low light reflection for a refined, understated aesthetic. The matt surface enhances the scratch resistance, offering more durability than traditional glass. It also hides stains and fingerprints, looking good for longer and is faster to clean than standard surfaces.

The Mythos K-Link Induction Hob integrates seamlessly with compatible Franke cooker hoods via its built-in K-Link technology. This intelligent system enables the hob and hood to communicate automatically, adjusting the hood’s extraction power based on the hob’s activity. The result is improved airflow, reduced noise and a cleaner kitchen environment – all without the need for manual intervention. The hood also continues to operate for a short time after the hob is turned off, helping to clear any lingering steam and cooking odours.

Offering excellent cooking flexibility, the hob features five cooking zones, including two Flexi zones that can be combined for larger pots and pans. Each zone has its own touch slider control with minimal etching and clear white digits for a clean, modern look. There are nine power levels plus a booster for instant heat, along with melting and keep-warm functions for more precise cooking tasks. Energy use can also be adjusted with four power limit settings from 2.5kW to 7.4kW.
