Franke’s innovative Maris Quiet Bowl reduces noise in the kitchen

Released in response to increased consumer demand for products that can help create a more peaceful and comfortable environment in multifunctional, open-plan kitchens, the stainless steel Maris Quiet Bowl features Franke’s exclusive Quiet Pad System. This noise reducing technology uses a double coating pad that lowers sound by 25% when rinsing and dishwashing.

Conventional sinks can produce noise levels of up to 80dB when water hits the bowl, which can be disruptive in a quiet home environment. However, Franke’s innovative Quiet Pad technology reduces noise levels to as low as 60dB, making for a more serene and enjoyable kitchen experience.

The Maris Quiet also features a large 7” basket strainer waste. Made from high-quality materials, the waste is particularly ideal for wok-based cooking, and for added convenience, the disposal basket has handles to make it easier to lift out and dispose of food residue, avoiding clogging.

The Maris Quiet Bowl comes in two single bowl undermount versions measuring 500x400x188mm to fit a 600mm cabinet and 820x420x190mm to fit a 900mm cabinet. Ideal for family life and entertaining, this spacious bowl provides plenty of room for washing all types of dishes, baking trays and bulky pots and pans as well as preparing food.

Jo Sargent, sales and marketing director at Franke UK, says: “Demand for quieter kitchen products has increased significantly in recent years as consumers become more conscious of how loud noises can trigger stress, poor concentration and irritability. With the Maris Quiet Bowl, Franke has created a premium sink that provides the perfect blend of tranquility, functionality and aesthetics. Intuitively designed and featuring our innovative Quiet Pad technology and easy-clean waste kit, it is a pleasure to use in even the busiest kitchens.”

The Maris Quiet Bowl is now available in the UK and is backed by Franke’s 50-year guarantee.
