Mendip Stoves double sided wood burner

Mendip’s Double Sided Woodland stove

Mendip Stove’s new Double Sided Woodland design offers all the benefits of the standard Woodland stove and is perfect for open plan living. Featuring a large glass viewing window and stainless steel handles – this new, deeper model will provide the perfect centrepiece for an open-plan living area and will complement both classic and contemporary interior design.

The Woodland Double Sided stove does not require any venting as it is fitted with a direct external air connection and is DEFRA approved so it can be used in built-up areas and to burn wood in a smoke control zone. Cast iron doors on both sides of the stove can be opened, which enables the fire to be loaded from either side for ease and convenience, whichever room or area you are in at the time. The Woodland Double Sided stove is also the first in Mendip’s collection to utilise a catalyser to keep it burning efficiently, which in turn means that it is Ecodesign Ready. Ecodesign is the European-wide programme to lower emissions, which is due to come into force for stoves in the UK in 2022. Ecodesign Ready stoves will meet the Ecodesign requirements, making the Woodland Double Sided a good investment.

Added features include integrated clean burn technology and an air wash system that keeps both glass windows clean, allowing for an impressive view of the burning log fire inside from every angle. This freestanding stove is rated A for energy efficiency and has a powerful 8kW heat output with 200mm distance to combustibles.

Mendip Stoves’ Woodland Double Sided stove is priced £1,950

The Woodland Double Sided stove is part of the Woodland Trust offer from Eurostove. For every stove sold, Mendip will contribute £10 to the Woodland Trust, the UK’s leading conservation charity.
