Siemens launches iQ500 inductionAir Plus Cooktop

The new Siemens iQ500 inductionAir Plus is a premium glass-ceramic cooktop featuring the innovative “diamondProtect” coating, powered by SCHOTT’s patented Miradur® technology. This cutting-edge coating, nearly as hard as a diamond, significantly enhances the cooktop’s resistance to scratches, ensuring a pristine, like-new appearance for longer.

The iQ500 inductionAir Plus is designed to withstand the rigours of daily kitchen use. Whether it’s abrasive particles, heavy pots, or harsh cleaning agents, the Miradur® coating drastically reduces the risk of surface damage, making it a durable choice for high-performance kitchens. Compared to conventional glass-ceramic cooktops, this new product offers over twice the scratch resistance, maintaining its flawless finish even under intense use.

The cooktop also features SCHOTT’s Luminoir® material, which enhances LED light visibility through the deep black glass-ceramic surface. This results in brighter, more vibrant light displays, particularly in white and blue, creating a striking visual effect in any kitchen.

The Siemens iQ500 inductionAir Plus combines advanced durability with sophisticated design, making it an ideal choice for both professional kitchens and design-conscious consumers. The product will be showcased at IFA 2024 in Berlin from September 6-10, providing an opportunity to experience its unique features firsthand.
