Simon Acres Group invests in apprenticeships

Leading KBB and merchant service provider Simon Acres Group, (SAGL) has recruited two young people into apprenticeship roles and announced two internal promotions, as it plans for future growth.

Lewis Morrish has been promoted to service relationship manager at KBB Services and Jordan Burns, previously group services director, takes on a new role as group sales director.

Charlotte Lipski joins the company as a Digital Marketing apprentice and will work with Kordian Pach, group marketing director.  Kieran Carroll is a business administration apprentice, who will work with Lewis in KBB Services.

Jordan Burns said, “We are delighted to play our part in supporting the training of people entering the KBB sector. Apprenticeships are vital if the industry is to develop an experienced and professional workforce.  These appointments reflect our commitment to help address the skills shortage in the industry, which is a real threat.  Our careers day with Compusoft in October is another positive step to create awareness and attract new people into our industry.

“My new role will give me the opportunity to drive forward the growth we are experiencing across all of our business streams, whilst Lewis and Keiran will manage the development of the KBB Services portfolio.

“This investment in young people and our existing staff will ensure that we are robust and ready for further growth, as well as ensuring that we continue to provide the highest quality customer service.”
