Virtual Worlds offers 3-step package

Software company Virtual Worlds has put together a 3-step package of measures to support the industry. The ‘COVID19 Care Programme’ has been designed to help manufacturers and retailers. This includes:

1)Free VW Pro-Suite – enabling teams to keep working remotely, providing as many Virtual Worlds Professional Licences as required.

2)Free Design Cloud access – helping retailers keep sales moving without face-to-face meetings. Deigns can be viewed by the customer on a mobile device with the retailer receiving a notification of when the design is viewed to enable a follow-up call to actioned at the right time.

3)Financial assistance – to help with cash flow.

Remarking on the 3 step package, one Virtual Worlds retailer posted on LinkedIn, commenting: “Thanks for stepping up and helping out the retailer. When this is all said and done companies like Virtual Worlds will stand out for helping retailers reduce their overheads so we can keep operating in the future.”

Another retailer, also on LinkedIn, commented on the financial help available by posting: “If you help retailers reduce overheads while we are closed we’ll have businesses to go back to.”

Explaining the measures, Nathan Maclean, Managing Director of Virtual Worlds said: “This is a defining moment, and we owe it to the industry as a whole to do all we can to ensure the survival of the businesses who have contributed to our success. It’s in tough times that businesses show their true colours. It is how we respond in a time of crisis that will set our future course and the wellbeing of the retailers has always been our ultimate goal.”
