Vindya Silva InaSinkErator marketing and communications

InSinkErator® recruits marketing & communications specialist

InSinkErator®, a manufacturer of food waste disposal units and hot water taps, has welcomed a new marketing and communications specialist to its UK team.

Vindya Silva joins the marketing department to cover the maternity leave of Earum Fiayaz, bringing to the role both marketing communications and stakeholder/client management experience, having worked with organisations such as BBC Good Food, The Digital Voice and The Department of Health and Social Care.

Discussing her new position, Vindya commented: “It’s an exciting time to be joining InSinkErator® and I’m eager to jump in to this year’s marketing activity for the brand. The diversity of this role provides extensive exposure to different elements of marketing and aligns well with my expertise in creating brand awareness.”

Vindya’s role will include getting involved in marketing projects, from planning to content creation, conducting market research and supporting the team across all digital and traditional campaigns, both for trade and consumer audiences.

Anne Kaarlela, marketing communications and customer service manager, Europe, InSinkErator® commented: “Vindya is a great addition to the team and at an important time for the brand. She brings with her valuable experience and will be a real asset in helping us reinforce InSinkErator® as the brand of choice for both food waste disposal and hot water taps.”
