New BORA X Pure Rough cooktop extractor wins Livingetc Style Award for Best Hob

BORA has announced that the BORA X Pure Rough, its purist cooktop extractor system, which offers maximum cooking space, has been named Best Hob at the prestigious Livingetc Style Awards.

Designed to celebrate products that resonate with the magazine’s design-conscious audience, the Livingetc Style Awards aim to help readers make educated, style-forward choices. BORA was presented with this coveted award, which reflects its ‘commitment to delivering exceptional creativity’ and its continuous drive for perfection, at an exclusive winners’ party on 29th July.

The BORA X PURE Rough has a matte glass finish that cleverly conceals fingerprints and streaks while providing a unique, elegant and modern look with enhanced grip for cookware. Unsurpassed visually and technically, this minimalist cooktop extractor offers maximum space for cookware with large freeform induction areas that provide a more flexible, intuitive cooking experience.

Instead of defined cooking rings, the BORA X Pure Rough offers larger areas measuring up to 23 x 23cm or one combined induction zone measuring 23 x 46cm, providing users with greater freedom in how they use the hob and the positioning of pots and pans. This allows users to cook with large pans, which can be problematic on standard induction hobs.

Thoughtfully designed to enrich the cooking experience, the BORA X Pure Rough’s practical and intuitive features include a tricoloured blue, red and white touch panel, called sControl+, to make it easy to control the different settings. Offering enhanced connectivity, it benefits from the BORA JOY app, which can help make cooking simpler than ever.

The BORA X Pure Rough features enhanced supportive Assist functions, such as Boil and Fry, which, when combined with the new BORA Pots and Pans Assist range, can help users achieve optimum results and protect cookware and food. The integrated extractor automatically adjusts to clear the steam and cooking smells generated by the induction hob.

Clearly differentiating the BORA X Pure Rough from similar innovations on the market, its air inlet nozzle has an iconic pin-look design.

Willi Bruckbauer, BORA Founder and CEO, said: “At BORA, we’re committed to creating outstanding products that offer tangible benefits for end users and the BORA X Pure Rough is no exception. We’re delighted to see this recognised at the Livingetc Style Awards.”
